Hezbollah International Relations Official Ammar Al-Moussawi told the EU ambassador to Lebanon Angelina Eichhorst the party’s rejection for the EU decision that blacklists “the so-called military wing” of Hezbollah, noting that this decision will have several repercussions and will not pass unnoticed.
Al-Moussawi asserted, after meeting Eichhorst in Hezbollah International Relations headquarters, that the EU decision reflects the Union’s complete obedience to the American and the Zionist wills as the Israeli PM, Benjamin Netanyahu, announced that the EU decision is considered a great Zionist diplomatic achievement.
“Hezbollah considers this decision to be an insult because it equates resistance with terrorism”, said al-Moussawi.
“You cannot condemn with one hand and then extend the other to shake ours”, Moussawi addressed the Europeans.
Stressing that the EU decision will never be able to change Hezbollah stances, al-Moussawi deemed that the Europeans do not aim at cutting off their communication with Hezbollah.
For her part, Eichhorst affirmed that the EU decision do not justify for any state, or even the Zionist entity, to launch an aggression against Lebanon and do not halt the EU cooperation with Lebanon.
“The decision conveys a message to the ‘military wing’ of Hezbollah”, she stated.
In the same context, Eichhorst visited the caretaker minister Mohammad Fneish to discuss the EU decision.
The European diplomat included the meeting in the context of her visits to the Lebanese officials.
“We aim at maintaining our cooperation with all the Lebanese political parties”, she emphasized.
“We will keep providing Lebanon with economic and financial aids”, Eichhorst concluded.
