Saudi Warplanes Commit New Massacre in Yemen Raid
At least ten Yemeni civilians were martyred on Sunday, including children, in a Saudi airstrike in the province of Taiz.
Yemeni news agency, Saba, quoted sources as saying that the airstrikes took place after midnight on Saturday in az-Zahra village.
“Saudi air force carried out the strike after midnight, launching two missiles. The first targeted a farm in al-Batna region, while the second fell on a house in az-Zahra village,” the sources said.
The sources added that several others were injured in the airstrike.
Since the Saudi aggression began last month, more than 600 people are estimated to have been killed. Many more have been wounded, and tens of thousands have fled the country.
Last week, UNICEF said that at least 74 children are known to have been killed and 44 children maimed since the war was launched on March 26. Meanwhile, Human rights watchdogs slammed Riyadh for its aggression on the Yemeni residential areas.
