Media War Cell announced on Friday killing 25 Chechen suicide bombers that were planning to attack the city of Samarra during an operation that resulted in killing 124 militants of the organization and the destruction of 12 vehicles and two boats in the provinces of Kirkuk, Salahuddin and Anbar.
The cell said in a press statement that “Falcon air forces, based on information from the Agency of Information and Federal Investigations, were able to kill 61 terrorists including three leaders of Arab nationality in the village of al-Bashir,” adding that “3 armored vehicles were burned, while two bobby-trapped vehicles were destroyed.”
The statement added that “Our security forces carried out missile and artillery strikes on ISIS gatherings in western Mikchafiya resulteding n the destruction of hideouts belonging to Chechen suicide bombers, where 25 of them were killed,” indicating that , “they were planning to attack the city of Samarra.”
