Terrorist attack in Baghdad and new plans to destabilize the region
NourNews – On the eve of the Democrats’ sitting-in at the White House, the reconstruction of ISIS, the insecurity and re-destabilization of Iraq, along with the weakening of the populace, are a key factor to complete the Western, Hebrew, Arab project to continue in Iraq, especially to influence the upcoming elections. On Thursday morning, two suicide bombers wanted by security forces blew themselves up in the al-Bab al-Sharqi area of Baghdad, killing and injuring a number of civilians.
Iraqi Minister of Health Hassan al-Tamimi announced the death toll of the two terrorist attacks, which were officially claimed by ISIS on Friday, February 22, as 32 martyrs and 110 wounded.
Following this incident, the office of Ayatollah Sistani, the Supreme Authority of Iraq, issued a statement expressing condolences to the people and families of the martyrs and calling on the security forces to intensify their efforts to maintain security and thwart the plans of the enemies.
Immediately after the incident, Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kazemi convened an emergency security meeting, announcing a state of readiness and emphasizing the necessary field measures, ordering changes in the security and intelligence services responsible and immediately launching an investigation into the two blasts.
Al-Kazemi’s changes in the various levels of command of the intelligence and security services, which some interpreted as an “earthquake in the structure of the Iraqi security services,” were: the removal of Maj. Gen. Amer Saddam, the deputy interior minister for intelligence, and the appointment of Maj. Gen. Ahmad Abu Ragheef.
He was replaced by the removal of Abdul Karim Abdul Fadhil (Abu Ali al-Basri), director general of intelligence and counter-terrorism at the Interior Ministry, and the appointment of Hamid al-Shatri, the transfer of Baghdad operations commander Qais al-Muhammadawi to the Ministry of Defense, and the appointment of Maj. Gen. Ahmad Salim. He was replaced by the dismissal of Maj. Gen. Jaafar al-Batat, the commander of the Federal Police, and the appointment of Maj. Gen. Raed Shakir Judet to replace him.
The terrorist incident also provoked a lot of reactions. Iraqi President Barham Saleh, Parliament Speaker Mohamed al-Halbosi, Foreign Minister Fouad Hussein, Al-Hashd al-Shaabi’s head Falih al-Fayyad and Hekmat leader Sayed Ammar al-Hakim were among the domestic figures who condemned the incident.
Iranian Ambassador Iraj Masjedi, Lebanese Hezbollah, EU Ambassador Martin Huth, Canadian Ambassador Ulyric Shannon, Turkish Ambassador Fatih Yildiz, Arab League Secretary-General Ahmed Abul Gity, Arab League Parliament Speaker Adel al-Asumi, Egyptian Foreign Ministry, Jordan, UN mission in Iraq and Qatari Foreign Ministry also condemned the incident.
The U.S. Embassy and the Saudi Foreign Ministry have also condemned the terrorist incident, while ISIS was responsible for the operation, according to the Americans themselves, and that al-Saud was responsible for financing them.
In the 2016 election debates, former President Donald Trump documented Hillary Clinton’s claims in her memoirs that the U.S. government was the founder and supporter of ISIS.
After the dominoes of the Arab revolutions began in 2011, the United States established and supported Takfiri terrorist groups, including ISIS, because of security concerns that threatened the Zionist regime and Arab hand-held dictators.
Due to the serious investment of the Western axis, Saudi Arabia, Zionists, to use a tool of Takfiri terrorist groups, at the same time made a great effort to limit and eliminate the potential and potential capacities that could counter this hand-picked movement.
Since the emergence of Takfiri terrorism in the region, the unmatched role of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the axis of resistance in the serious and influential confrontation with Takfiri terrorist groups, particularly ISIS, and the command and guidance of counterterrorism forces in Iraq, Syria, Lebanon and Afghanistan by General Shahid Haj Qasem Soleimani and Martyr Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis have been one of the main deterrent factors in achieving the goals of the pro-terrorism axis.
The assassination of senior counterterrorism commanders by the United States and the boycott of individuals such as Falih al-Fayyad, the head of the Hashd organization, and Abu Fadak al-Muhammadawi, Abu Mahdi’s successor, should undoubtedly be considered within the framework of supporting Takfiri terrorism and removing the factors that are the cause of this movement in the region.
To be more precise, if the estimates of anti-Iranian war-seeking think-ins such as the FDD showed that if intelligence and strength were not the axis of resistance and its commanders, the American Zionist scenario for disintegrating the region and fully securing Israel would have been realized without any hassle, so under pressure from the Zionists and Saudi and UAE leaders, Trump would have been persuaded to assassinate General Soleimani and Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis.
On the other hand, the special role of a skilled force such as al-Hashd al-Shaabi in removing isis’s ominous shadow from the Iraqi people and maintaining security in the country has led the United States to confront it with various means over the past years, such as discord and psychological operations to defame the PMU, attack their military positions, provoke political figures to deal with the PMU, and use influential currents within this popular organization.
In fact, the United States considers its most important obstacle to the continuation of military presence in Iraq as the axis of resistance and groups such as al-Hashd al-Shaabi, and the Al Saud and the Zionist regime also have many incentives for the U.S. survival in the region and the destruction of resistance groups in the shadow of the escalation of unrest, so obviously they will do their best to morale ate the remaining elements of ISIS and rebuild them.
Now, on the eve of democrats in the White House, the rebuilding of ISIS and the destabilization and destabilization of Iraq have been keyed at the same time as the weakening of the PMU to complete the American project to continue its presence in Iraq, especially to influence the upcoming elections. It should be noted that if the Democrats’ record shows that their thirst for west Asian presence is no less than that of the Republicans.
The recent explosions in Baghdad and the increased mobility of the Zionist regime in hitting syrian army and counterterrorism forces positions in the country are definitely within the framework of a unified strategy to strengthen the flow of Takfiri terrorism and to pursue new programs based on destabilization and create new security gaps, requiring increased vigilance of countries and groups on the front line of counterterrorism.
