Syrian Army Kills 75 Terrorists in Reef Damascus
The Syrian army killed 75 armed rebels in several military operations in Reef (outskirts of) Damascus on Sunday.
According to FNA dispatches, the army attacked a terrorist hideout in Duma town in Reef Damascus, killing 30 armed rebels today. A heavy cloud of smoke was coming out of the terrorist hideout destroyed by the Syrian army in Duma town, witnessed said.
The army also killed at least 17 terrorists during an attack on their hideout in Arabain town in Reef Damascus today.
The Syrian army killed 28 other armed rebels in Ziyabia town in the outskirts of Damascus. The army lost 6 soldiers during heavy the clashes with the terrorists in Ziyabia.
Terrorists have tried hard in the last few months to make Syrian cities unsafe, specially for citizens, but the army has purged them from most neighborhoods and districts, killed hundreds of them and arrested many more.
Syria has been experiencing unrest since March 2011 with organized attacks by well-armed gangs against Syrian police forces and border guards being reported across the country.
Hundreds of people, including members of the security forces, have been killed, when some protest rallies turned into armed clashes.
The government blames outlaws, saboteurs, and armed terrorist groups for the deaths, stressing that the unrest is being orchestrated from abroad.
