Several dozen Grad multiple rockets could be heard firing early in the morning from the area of Putilovsky, a Donetsk neighbourhood near the city’s ruined airport, AFP correspondents said.
Moreover, the Donetsk mayor’s website said that, “Powerful firing has been heard from high-calibre guns and explosions.” Kiev and the pro-Russians inked a Russian-proposed truce pact on September 5 in a move to put an end to heavy clashes in Ukraine’s eastern provinces but the fighting continues unabated.
