Iran Supreme Leader: Talks with US banned because of disadvantages
Ahlul Bayt News Agency – Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei says negotiations with the US are banned due to their numerous disadvantages.
The Leader made the remarks in a meeting with commanders and staff members of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC)’s Navy as well as their families in Tehran on Wednesday. Holding talks with Washington would be tantamount to its infiltration through which the US seeks to impose its will, Ayatollah Khamenei noted.
On Monday Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution said that the enemies are trying to influence young people to undermine their political and religious beliefs. Leader made the remarks in a meeting with the members of a committee to commemorate martyrs of Chahar Mahal and Bakhtiari province.
Ayatollah Khamenei said the current endeavors of faithful people and officials to confront enemy invasions in cultural and religious areas are useful and necessary. He said focus on measures to promote notions as jihad, martyrdom and enduring hardship for the sake of God are among the most effective ways to foil enemies’ plots.
“Weakening the (Iranian people’s) religious and political beliefs and attempts to absorb active and influential young people at different levels are among the plans of the enemy’s political and cultural army,” the Leader added.
