Irna – Health Ministry expressed readiness to dispatch a medical team to treat the wounded in the Friday crane collapse happened in Mecca, Saudi Arabia.
According to reports, 107 people including one Iranian pilgrim were killed in the incident on Friday afternoon and 230 were wounded of whom 20 are Iranian.
The Health Ministry announced that it is ready to receive the injured in the Iranian hospitals. Most of the dead are from Afghanistan and Pakistan, according to reports.
Iran’s medical delegations are serving the Iranians and non-Iranians who were injured in the event.
