Hizbullah issued the following statement:
Hizbullah denounces the brutal terrorist crime that was committed by Daesh killing gangs in the Iraqi region of al-Hillah, which targeted pilgrims returning from the Prophet’s household shrines in the holy cities of Karbala and Najaf, which martyred and injured dozens of innocent civilians.
Hizbullah finds such crime continuity for the series of killing conducted by these uncontrolled irreligious groups, which consider that shedding the blood of innocent people fulfills their religion-masked hostilities, while conducting revengeful policies in favor of international and regional powers that were defeated by the Iraqi people’s will and their guests of other Arab and Muslim nationalities.
As Hizbullah consoles and congratulates the families of the Iraqi martyrs and the martyrs of other nationalities who lost their lives in this tragedy, it calls for exerting extra efforts to get rid of those terrorists, deprive them from achieving their wicked goals and damage the hopes of their masters in which the dignity and freedom of the Iraqi people, as well as their security and stability would be saved.
