Future Movement in Tripoli Dispersed, Hariri Seeks Revenge

di Redazione

Local Editor As-Safir Lebanese daily reported Tuesday that “the central command in the Future Movement realized, merely months away from the scheduled parliamentary elections, that the ‘Blue Popularity’ is not well, especially in areas previously known as its strategic reserve, such as Tripoli”.

On this note, the daily pointed out that Tripoli is described as a factor of electoral worry to former Prime Minister Saad Hariri, who recently appointed Abdel Ghani Kabara as his consultant in Tripoli issues. Moreover, as-Safir highlighted, “Tripoli is the only Lebanese city in which the former PM would Avenge his dignity from former Tripoli Allies, who did not directly participate in Overthrowing him, but later Forbade him from returning to the Grand Serail by Favoring PM Najib Mikati.” Among the primary obstacles Saad Hariri faces in Tripoli is the inadequacy of his Movement to address people, since most Tripoli citizens state that Future Movement MPs’ tense Escalations “have turned into an outburst that no one wants”.
