NourNews – Throughout the life of the Islamic Revolution, the resistance has shown new faces in different dimensions and new geographical areas and has changed from a minimum, defensive and reactive to a maximum, deterrent, active and intelligent, and from the resistance inside the western region, Asia and beyond.
The seed of the Islamic Revolution was planted in the teachings of the school of Islam and Shiism and the movement of Holly Imam Hussein (PBUH), and this sapling grew by relying on the religious teachings and pure Islam of Muhammad and became a big tree.
Islamic Resistance and Revolution; The twin born of the Quran
In fact, the resistance and the Islamic Revolution were born of a Quranic turning point, and if there was no resistance, Islam would not have made any progress after the resurrection of the Holy Prophet (PBUH). The culmination of the resistance was the issue of Karbala and the uprising of Aba Abdullah (AS), and the Islamic Revolution was able to make good use of the capacity to advance this divine movement.
The leader of this revolution was a full-fledged and absolute authority in the Shiite world who had full knowledge and aristocracy of jurisprudence, the Quran, the teachings of the Ahl al-Bayt (AS) and the history of Islam, so if Imam Khomeini from the very beginning of the Islamic movement He himself had not stopped the movement of this movement with the very first steps of the Pahlavi regime and this young sapling was drying up, but by insisting on the strategy of resistance in the Islamic movement, the Islamic Revolution won in a short time with many martyrs.
In fact, the Islamic Movement from the first day with the support of the resistance against the Pahlavi regime, the United States and the Zionist regime led to the victory of the Islamic Revolution and the resistance movement was institutionalized in the country and continues to this day.
The evolution of the 42-year resistance movement
Of course, it should be noted that depending on the different conditions of the post-revolutionary period, resistance emerged in different forms. In fact, the type of resistance in the first decade of the revolution, which was the decade of stabilization and revolution, is fundamentally different from subsequent decades. For this reason, the issue of resistance became stronger with the increase of the blessed life of the Islamic Revolution and was able to affect in greater dimensions and scope, and especially today this direct impact is clearly visible in West Asia.
Today, the resistance in the Islamic Revolution has become a complete and comprehensive theory, so as the martyr General Qasem Soleimani, as the noble son of the revolution, created the diplomacy of the resistance from within this theory, and based on this diplomacy, took actions that astonished the world.
On the forty-second anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution, it can be said with certainty that the adoption and pursuit of the strategy of resistance has given a complete answer to many ambiguities and doubts. In other words, the resistance has been able to continue the Islamic Revolution as a big tree with various fruits and remarkable longevity, and to create and grow powerful members such as Hezbollah of Lebanon, Ansarullah of Yemen and Hashd al-Shaabi of Iraq as the main currents in the axis of resistance.
On the other hand, the resistance-oriented approach of the Islamic Revolution has left the West Asian region today and the culture and discourse of resistance has reached other continents, including Latin America and near America, which can be seen in Venezuela, Bolivia and some other countries in this region.
Revolution and Resistance; The two leading wings of the Islamic Republic
By carefully examining the relationship between the Islamic Revolution and the resistance, it can be said that with the transfer and export of the thought and culture of the Islamic Revolution, the issue of resistance has been transferred along with it and these two have been able to bring the Islamic Republic to its current position.
In the current situation, the issue of resistance has been strengthened in such a way that today, all over the world, resistance is known as the symbol and label of the Islamic Revolution. In other words, in places where the Islamic Revolution and even Islam are not known, but resistance against the domination system and the United States has been formed, this resistance is derived from the thought and culture of the Islamic Revolution and therefore resistance is considered the identity of the Islamic Revolution.
Prove of the effectiveness of the resistance
Today, the current of resistance has reached such a level of growth, development and maturity that the new US President states the conditions for confronting this resistance and considers the current of resistance to the flag of the Islamic Republic of Iran as one of its main challenges. For this reason, despite the decisive failure of sanctions and Trump’s maximum pressure, today the US President and White House officials are talking about the continuation of these sanctions in the face of the Islamic Revolution.
Therefore, the choice of the resistance approach in the Islamic Revolution was taken from the school of Islam and the Quran, and this approach has shown its success and efficiency in various scenes of this 42-year period. It seems that throughout the life of the Islamic Revolution, the resistance has shown new faces in new dimensions and areas of geography and has changed from a minimum, defensive and reactive to a maximum, deterrent, active and intelligent, and from resistance inside to the region of West Asia and beyond has expanded.
Strong support for negotiations to maximize national interests
Those who advocate “resistance-negotiation” do not know negotiation and its preconditions precisely, nor they know the various dimensions of resistance and its achievements. Basically, resistance and negotiation are never opposed to each other, but in fact are two wings in the field of foreign policy and diplomacy of the Islamic Republic of Iran that can be used to maintain national security and national interests.
At the same time, it should be noted that the Islamic Republic of Iran, according to the upstream documents, macro policies and foreign policy doctrines, allows negotiations with all countries except the Zionist regime and the United States. Resistance, therefore, is the support for maximizing national interests in all negotiating arenas.
Martyr General Qasem Soleimani, as the Supreme Commander of the Resistance, also used a very authoritative and successful diplomacy and in the form of these diplomatic talks and negotiations, he secured not only the national interests of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the people of Iran but also the interests of some nations in the region, And he showed that this is a false dichotomy and that negotiation can bring a higher level of security, stability and benefits to the people of Iran and the nations of the region in the light of the achievements of the resistance.
