Ansarullah Officials Meet Ambassadors of Russia, Germany, Egypt in Sana’a

Officials of Yemen’s Ansarullah revolutionaries are meeting with foreign ambassadors in the capital Sana’a following the constitutional declaration.

The head of foreign affairs department in Ansarullah movement, Hussein al-Azzi, met the ambassadors of Russia, Germany and Egypt, media reported.

The meetings took place on Sunday, and were attended by members of Ansarullah’s political bureau, Mohammad al-Qabali and Abdulmalek al-Ajari.

During the meeting with the Egyptian ambassador, he stressed Cairo’s keenness to maintain security in Yemen. He also said that Egypt rejects any foreign intervention in Yemen.

Later on, UN envoy to Yemen Jamal Benomar announced the resumption of the national dialogue in the country. “I am happy to announce to you that all political parties have agreed to return to the table of the dialogue,” Benomar told journalists on Sunday at a Sana’a hotel.

“The United Nations is committed to take Yemen out of this crisis,” Ben Omar said, noting that the talks will take place Monday.

National Agenda

Meanwhile, the member of Ansarullah’s political bureau, Hasan as-Saadi, voiced the revolutionaries’ readiness to take part in the dialogue sessions with all the political factions.

In a phone call with al-Manar website, Saadi said that the current crisis in the country can’t be solved as long as there is western intervention represented by the US stance over the events in Yemen.

He also referred to intervention by some regional countries in Yemen, including Saudi Arabia, calling on these countries to make “positive intervention” and to be committed to a “national agenda.

“The relation with Yemen should be based on mutual respect,” Saadi said.

The official noted that the parties which will participate in the national dialogue should not put preconditions, as he stressed that Ansarullah will not claim exclusive power in Yemen.

Ansarullah revolutionaries, who drove out al-Qaeda from the capital last September, issued the constitutional declaration on Friday, in a bid to avoid the power vacuum in the country after both the President Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi and his prime minister resigned earlier last month.
