4.0 Earthquake Hits Lebanon
Tremors were felt in several areas across Lebanon early on Sunday, residents said.
In a phone call with Al-Manar Website, the National Center for Geophysics, Bhannis, reported that the earthquake took place at 12:34 a.m., noting that its magnitude was 4.0.
Bhannis center also said that the quake’s epicenter was located 8 km northeast of the southern city of Sidon.
Residents in occupied Palestine as well as in the Syrian capital, Damascus and its countryside said they also felt the tremors, several news websites reported.
